New to Christ Harvest Ministries? Well this page is Just For You! At CHM Church you can be guaranteed of one thing: we'll be glad you joined us to worship Jesus. At CHM, you'll find people from all walks of life journeying together after Jesus. We are passionate about sharing the love of Christ, and in doing so, we seek to be a force for positive transformation in our city and our region. We recognize that coming to church can be an intimidating experience; because of that, we want to give you a few pointers so you can enter our church confidently.

New Members’ Classes -
We encourage all who voice an interest to become a part of CHM to attend ALL five classes to become a covenant member at Christ Harvest Ministries.
Class 1 –General Overview
Class one includes our Church Guidelines –How to reverence God’s house from the parking lot to the sanctuary; Our Statement of Faith –What We Believe, Teach and Preach here at CHM; General Overview –Introduces the roles and responsibilities of the local body of believers as well as the universal body, and; The Membership Covenant –A voluntary agreement by the members of CHM to be recited and signed at the end of the session.
Class 2 –Growth and Development
A path of maturity in God, first through salvation, time spent in prayer, the reading of the Word and evangelism.
Class 3 –God’s Financial Plan
This class lays the blueprint for teaching about tithes, offering and alms giving. With general definitions of all three. We reveal the benefits with biblical principles and the penalty for borrowing the Lord’s tithe.
Class 4 –Praise and Worship
It is important to praise God for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His excellent greatness, or to worship Him in spirit and in truth. Vital information is given based on sound doctrine from the Word of God, and the unique difference between praise and worship is revealed.
Class 5 –Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts
God has a purpose and plan for our lives. We are all gifted with spiritual gifts. Like Timothy, let’s discover and use our gifts for the glory of God and the benefit of others.

IN EXCHANGE FOR MY SOUL? Mark 8:36-37 This verse says that you have something more valuable than all the riches in this world, including the world itself. Your soul is what has value. The soul is the real you. The soul can be lost. And losing one soul is like losing the whole world in God’s eyes. The Bible shows us that the soul needs to be saved from Hell.
Although “labeling” is not what we are about, we realize that most people want to know “what kind of church we are”. Simply put, we are an independent, non-denominational, charismatic, multiracial, multigenerational fellowship of Christian believers seeking to be God’s people on the earth. To give you a better idea of ‘who we are’ here are some national ministries that we respect and look to, but have no official affiliation with: Word of Faith Family Cathedral with Dale C. Bronner, Joyce Meyer Ministries, Ever Increasing Faith Ministries with Fred Price, World Harvest Church with Rod Parsley, World Changers Ministries with Dr. Creflo Dollar, The Potter’s House and others.
More than just singing songs, at CHM. Our worship is God focused with freedom, exuberance and passionate, engaging music that honors the Lord and draws people to know Him and love Him. You will find us lifting our hands, clapping, dancing, shouting or quietly “soaking” in God’s presence. It’s all about glorifying God in whatever way that honors Him.
A friendly, casual atmosphere with lots of smiling faces. We make a special effort to make every person who visits feel comfortable and welcome. In order to know who our guests are, we will ask you to raise your hand, complete a Visitor’s Card and invite you to a time of fellowship or meet our pastors at the end of the service. None of this is mandatory. Above all, we want our guests to relax and find us to be a loving, caring people who at some time in the past, was also a first-timer! You will not be pressured. Come and see us. We’re expecting you!!
We are more concerned that you find Christ Harvest Ministries to be a place where your life needs can be met through Jesus Christ. We don’t focus on what people wear or don’t wear. Please dress comfortably. However, CHM is the House of the Holy God Lord Almighty It is in the best of interest we present ourselves in decent and orderly fashion. All are welcome at Christ Harvest Ministries. You will see all types- dressed up, casual and very casual.
On Sundays we have Harvest LifePoint service at 9:00am and Worship Service at 10:30am. On Wednesdays we have a Mid-Week Service at 7:00pm. Please see our calendar, you’ll find many other opportunities.
